Parlour Bar, the subterranean cocktail haven with a decadent burger that spawned a rabid following is expanding to a new location at 271 West 7th Street according to Mpls./St. Paul Magazine. The executive chef of Jester Concepts, the company that owns Parlour, Mike DeCamp shared details of a bar and restaurant that will take shape inside the location with the red façade that was supposed to be the home of a Northern Ireland bar. One side will be Parlour bar, the high-end cocktail spot with a dive-bar soul that fans love in Minneapolis, the middle will be a lounge and another side will be an open-kitchen diner for watching cooks crank out those in-demand burgers.
Jesse Held will again oversee the cocktail program, as he did with the original Parlour and all of Jester Concept’s restaurants.
Parlour Bar Saint Paul is expected to open in early 2018.
The original Parlour Bar first opened below the company’s first restaurant Borough in Minneapolis’ North Loop neighborhood at the tail end of 2012 and fast became one of the most popular nightlife spots in the thriving neighborhood. Jester Concepts also owns Monello, Constantine, and Mercado by Earl Giles.
