Hi Lo Diner Doubles Down on Girl Scout Cookie Season

Hi Tops, pies and more get the Thin Mint treatment.

Samoa Hi Top at Hi Lo Diner
Hi Lo Diner

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Girl Scout Cookie Season is upon us and to honor the tradition of plowing through sleeves of Thin Mints, Hi Lo Diner in Minneapolis has partnered with local Longfellow Girl Scout Troop 16904 and created a few specials based on the beloved classic cookies.

Stop by for a limited time and indulge in specials like the Gimme Samoa That, a Hi-Top (those sky high donutesque creations the diner is known for) filled with cookie crunch whip cream and topped with chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, toasted coconut and of course, a Samoa cookie. Or how about a pie? Scout's Honor starts with an Oreo crust layered with a chocolate and peanut butter custard made with crushed Peanut Butter Patties, then topped with whipped cream and a Girl Scout Peanut Butter Patties cookie.

They didn’t forget the cocktails. Finish off lunch with Peanut Butter's My Jam, an ice cream cocktail made with Girl Scout's Do-Si-Dos, Bourbon, Crème de Cassis, Crème de Müre and ice cream.

Now go walk it all off and if you see a Girl Scout cookie table in someone’s front yard, pick up some extra Thin Mints for the long stretch until next Cookie Season.
