Just in time for Pi Day, The Dirty Bird has announced a partnership with Power, Corruption and Pie, the sassy name of James Beard Award finalist, Michelle Gayer’s pie pop-up. The pie pop up (say that fast ten times) had been popular at Hola Arepa, where pastry chef Michelle Gayer sold her pies on Mondays while the restaurant was closed. Those pop ups are a thing of the past, but now Twin Citians can get their pie on every. single. day at The Dirty Bird, Chef Erick Harcey’s Linden Hills rotisserie chicken annex to his ultra modern Nordic restaurant Upton 43.
Tucked behind Upton 43 and next to Rose Street Patisserie, The Dirty Bird is a take-out only eatery, specializes in chicken and soulful sides like mac and cheese and WILD RICE-A-RONI.
Starting today, The Dirty Bird will carry the craveable pies every day, in either whole pie or by-the-slice servings. But you won’t want just a slice. Trust us.
