The St. Paul Bagerly’s new Minneapolis location (still called The St. Paul Bagelry, ‘cause that’s how they roll) will introduce itself to new neighbors in the best way possible- with free bagels. On Friday, March 31, the Bagelry crew will be hanging out on the corner of Nicollet Avenue South and Diamond Lake Boulevard - weather permitting - passing out bagels to passerbys and any car that (safely) veers off its route for a free, fresh bagel.
“We have always been community oriented,” co-owner Peggy Teed said. “We are so excited to come into a new community and want to Introduce ourselves to our new neighbors, one car - and bagel - at a time.”
This will be the second location for owners Teed and sister Doddie Green, who bought the St. Paul Bagerly a decade ago. The Minneapolis spot will occupy the street level space in the Zest building across the street from Wise Acres.
