Gavin Kaysen’s new French restaurant, Bellecour, is just about ready for its close-up. The much-awaited Wayzata spot has launched a gorgeous new website, and the opening date has been announced as March 15. Starting today, reservations for dinner can be made through OpenTable or by calling 952-444-5200. Dinner service will run Tuesday through Saturday 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. and Sunday 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
The newly released menu is a marvel of French simplicity. Smoked salmon, terrine de foie gras and Bouillabaisse are just a few of the classics that are sure to shine under the deft hands of Chef Kaysen and Chef De Cuisine Nick Dugan.
Dugan grew up in upstate New York and graduated from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America after which he traveled and cooked around the country before landing in Minneapolis.
No reservations are needed to partake in Chef Diane Yang’s Frenchy delicacies at the bakery, which will be open seven days a week, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The bakery menu includes a variety of croissants, stuffed brioche, her incredible crepe cake, opera cake, pain de mie, baguette and more.
