And just like that, Third Bird (and for a fleeting moment, Bearcat) became The Bird today. The Loring Park spot from prolific restauranteur Kim Bartmann softly opened for breakfast this morning, but will officially launch breakfast and lunch service on Thursday, April 13.
According to Bartmann’s tweet, Early Bird will serve an eclectic menu of smoothies, soups, rice bowls and salads ranging from a simple Everthing bagel with smoked salmon to a charred octopus salad. Bartmann highlights an on-trend almond matcha in her message, perfect for the locale and clientele.
Bartmann culinary empire also includes Pat’s Tap, Bryant Lake Bowl, Tiny Diner, Kyatchi, Gigi’s Cafe, Red Stag and Barbette.
Official hours at Early Bird Mpls. will be 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
