Sanrio is currently conducting a super cute takeover of the nation with its roaming Hello Kitty Cafe Truck and finally it’s Minneapolis’ turn for the confection-colored eatery to open for business. On Saturday, June 10, the truck will park near Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka by the East Entrance between Sears and Nordstrom from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The truck has been making a national tour serving kitty-shaped confections since 2014 including Hello Kitty cookies (with sprinkles), macarons, bow-shaped bottle of water and more sweet stuff. With every stop the truck has been known to draw sizable lines and kitty-loving crowds.
The company recently launched a permanent cafe inside a mall in Southern California.
