Inside Travail Rotating Pop Up: Spotlight

Travail has always been a haven for collaboration. When chefs and Travail’s owners James Winberg, Micheal Brown and Bob Gerken made their bones working shoulder to shoulder with other great restaurant talents. From the first, early iteration to literally building, Travail has always been about a collective, a roving team of culinary merry makers who create singular dining experiences.

Every month another chef from their team steps forward to create a unique pop-up experience. This month, it’s time for Benjamin Feltmann to shine.

Spotlight is a relatively affordable tasting menu (at about $50 per person plus a $15 service fee). Guests are invited into the Rookery, the bar end of the Travail room and treated to several courses.

For Bejamin Feltmann’s menu, he reached down to Mexico and created 11 courses from chips to ceviche to carnitas and more.

There are just sixteen seats available for each Spotlight dinner, which means guests get easy access to these emerging chefs and can still enjoy an intimate dining experience with friends.

Feltman’s menu and Spotlight experience is available Wednesday through Saturday through June 3rd and tickets can be purchased here. (A few nights have already sold out.)
