Chef Ryan Lund, long of Lucia’s is running this new hotel restaurant.

The new Restaurant nineTwentyfive inside the recently built Hotel Landing at the end of the main drag of Lake Street in Wayzata is now open. It’s just one in a recent spate of openings in the city west of Minneapolis. The huge space spans two levels.

Chef Ryan Lund is familiar with the grind of a breakfast through dinner pace after his experience at Lucia’s in Uptown. The restaurant is known for its commitment to its farmers and having delicious food from early morning at the cafe to late nights in the wine bar. Lund said that prepared him in part to take this job, which is all that, but larger and with the non-stop demands of a hotel inside a summer destination town.

A communal table is set for 12.

The cuisine is all-American: blueberry pancakes with crushed pistachios for breakfast, smoked tomato soup for lunch and fresh pasta for dinner. (Check out the full menu here.)

The restaurant opens tomorrow June 16 beginning at 6:30 a.m. It’s located at 925 East Lake Street (in case there was any wonder about the name inspiration.)
