The chef and restaurant owner behind Highland Park’s Bar Brigade and the rustic, seasonal beauty of Red River Kitchen at City House are ready to unleash their third restaurant venture together. Delicata has been testing out the service on friends, family and the neighborhood this past week and tomorrow will open wide to the public.
The location is the former Como Grill in the Como neighborhood of St. Paul. In April news leaked out about the Republic owner taking over the vacant space. O’Reilly noted at the time that the area didn’t have many options when it came to great pizza.

Stephanie March of Mpls./St. Paul Magazine stopped in for a first look yesterday and notes that there are no servers, guests will order at the counter and then take a number to a table either inside or out on the expansive patio. Beverage options include beer and wine including prosecco on tap.
