The stately room at the base of 510 Groveland building in Minneapolis demands a refined restaurant and the address is once again in possession of one. What was last La Belle Vie is now an eatery named for the address and overseen by chef Don Saunders, who also owns The Kenwood. The room has been given a light refresh, with eye popping colors used judiciously. Regular hours for the restaurant will begin tomorrow, July 6.
The menu at the 510 Lounge is perfectly tailored for an elegant evening out including oysters, a caviar selection, a “cheese experience,” charcuterie and a few larger dishes like a lamb burger or trout terrine. Pastries are done by the eminently talented Jo Garrison, making it an ideal destination for a lingering date night.
The 510 Lounge is open Monday through Saturday, 4:30 pm to 1:00 a.m. with food being served all the way until midnight. Sunday hours are 4:30 to 11:00 p.m. Reservations are available here.
