Red Cow, the burger-centric restaurant from restaurateur Luke Shimp, continues to expand into new neighborhoods with the official opening today in the old Green Mill location 26 Hennepin Avenue. This restaurant joins Edina, the North Loop and St. Paul locations in this burgeoning mini-chain. The restaurants are known for a large variety of thick burgers (bucking the thin-patty, diner burger trend), plus other bar food favorites, 48 beer taps, cocktails by Ian Lowther and a diverse wine selection.
The new space is big, seating 130 people with a 1,000 square foot patio — that’s about as big as most Uptown apartments. Plus, with location comes the most coveted space of all in the neighborhood, a parking lot.
Red Cow Uptown is open Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to midnight on Sunday.
