Spoon and Stable is ground zero for celebrity sighting in Minneapolis. Another well-known name dined there on Tuesday evening. Al Roker, the weatherman, Today Show co-host, food show producer and other multi-hyphenate came through the Twin Cities. After his meal, Roker posted an Instagram of a Minneapolis sunset with the promise to try chef and owner Gavin Kaysen’s other restaurant, Bellecour “next time.”
That time came sooner than expected with New York City flights were booked the next day. Good to his word, Roker made the trip out to Wayzata and dined on duck a l’orange, foie gras au torchon, curry roasted cauliflower, oeufs mimosa and more.
He declared the dinner hashtag amazing.
