After three years of serving up tacos, fajitas, and hand-crafted margaritas with an Arizona-Mexican flair, Saguaro is closing its doors forever after this weekend.

Sunday, January 7th will be the last day of business according to a Facebook post on the restaurant’s page that led with the popular notion that all good things must come to an end. Caryl Abdo and Amanda Abdo Sheahan, the owner and general manager of Saguaro respectively, expressed hopes to build another place soon “where friends can gather and share the meaningful moments of their lives with good food, good drinks and good company.”

Abdo Sheahan told the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal that the decision was “a really tough one with a lot of factors,” but that it was ultimately the right choice to close the restaurant she referred to as her baby.

The Abdo family is also known for the My Burger restaurant chain.
