Lucky Cricket, the Chinese restaurant from globe-hopping celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern will begin serving Chinese cuisine, along with a slew of tiki drinks Monday November 19. The restaurant in Minneapolis’ suburban St. Louis Park is the first from the chef since his meteoric rise to international fame as host of Bizarre Foods.

The menu is being overseen by Zimmern and consulting chef Alex Ong and will feature dishes from around the massive country including dumplings, crispy duck, bao and dim sum. There’s also a dish AZ teased on Instagram that looks suspiciously like bubble waffle topped with fried chicken.

The impressive tiki bar, replete with thatched roof and wall of kitchy glasses available for purchase is being put together by tiki master Dean Hurst. In addition to tiki classics, there’s an Easter Island-esque head with a mouth that dispenses blended drinks. Great news for non-drinkers is that in addition to the famously punchy traditional tiki drinks will be a sophisticated selection of non-alcoholic drinks.
