Al Roker Gets a Jucy Lucy

As the Super Bowl looms, the celebrities continue to land in the Twin Cities and hit our best restaurants. We already knew NBC’s Al Roker was a fan of the Twin Cities food scene, more specifically Gavin Kaysen’s restaurants. When we last spotted him out and about, the weatherman was eating at both Wayzata’s Bellecour and Spoon and Stable in the North Loop. Today Roker Tweeted a blessedly, spelled correctly bit of praise for the humble stuffed burger icon, Matt’s Bar’s Jucy Lucy.

He said, “No trip to #minneapolis is complete without a stop at #worldfamous #mattsbar home of the #jucylucy a #cheese stuffed #burger.”

Other celeb’s eating spottings include Justin Timberlake at Octo Fishbar, Meritage and Manny’s Steakhouse.
