Parlour Bar, the cocktail destination with a dive bar soul is opening its second location on St. Paul’s West 7th on Monday. The new location at 267 West 7th Street will keep the stuff that has made the original Minneapolis location a legend: that burger, but will also add a whole new menu to the larger space.
There will be a burger bar, lounge and a diner counter where people can watch the chefs prepare the food. Chef Mike DeCamp, better known as YC is the overall chef for Jester Concepts, the company that owns Parlour as well as Borough, Monello, and Constantine. The chef built his name as the longtime sous chef at La Belle Vie and is known for his elegant food, but he’s also a man that can hold forth a twenty minute sonnet on the benefits of a backwoods Wisconsin dive bar meal.
Mpls/St. Paul Magazine reports menu items will include fried chicken livers, eggs with king crab and avocado, in addition to lots and lots of Parlour burgers, a simple beef patty with American cheese on a bun with a couple of pickles on the side.
The diner’s hours will be 10 am to 9 pm Monday, Sunday and open until 10 pm Tuedsday through Friday, open until 11 pm Friday and Saturday.
The cocktail bar opens 4 pm to 10 pm Sunday and Monday, open until 11 pm Tuesday through Thursday and closes at midnight on Friday and Saturday.
