Bent Paddle Brewing Company, giants of the Duluth craft beer scene now have a giant new taproom to mirror just how massive the almost five-year-old brewery has become. Located at 1812 W Michigan Street in Duluth’s Lincoln Park Neighborhood it’s spitting distance from the spot of the original taproom.
The new digs feature four times the square footage, a private event space with a 70-person capacity, bigger store, a stage, and most importantly - a 7bbl pilot brewing system for experimental and smaller craft beer batches.
“When you visit our new taproom we want you to feel at home - we often refer to it as our ‘living room’” Bent Paddle’s Taproom Manager Pepin Young said through a company press release.
The taproom offers something for everyone, including a family friendly kids area. A new, spacious patio will also be unveiled if the weather ever cooperates. Sadly, spring in Minnesota isn’t nearly as reliable as a fresh pint on the state’s North Shore.
