Wahlburgers, the chain from the Wahlburg family that spawned actors Donnie, Mark and others is on track to open its first Minnesota outpost at the Mall of America this summer. The chain, with brother Paul serving as executive chef, is hiring for the Bloomington location now. The 5,500-square-foot restaurant will have a full bar and be located on the second level of the north side. The menu consists of crowd-pleasing fare like burgers, salads and frappes.
—Clustertruck, an all-delivery restaurant will launch in Minneapolis next week. Deliverable options are plucked from a menu using some local brands like Baker’s Field Flour & Bread and Red Table Meat Co., and Peterson Craftsman Meats in St. Paul, Twin Organics. Meals from breakfast through dinner with several options for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free dishes. Prices generally range from $4 to 10 for most dishes. —Chef Matthew Kazama of Nicollet’s Ramen Kazama phenomenon has opened a poké bowl restaurant right next door at 5 W. 34th Street in Minneapolis. Fish Bowl Poké offers grab and go Tuesday through Sunday starting at 5:00 pm.
