Chicago-based Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea will open at 120 3rd Avenue North in Minneapolis’ North Loop neighborhood this Saturday July 14. The shop boasts a vast selection of coffee and tea. Unlike most coffee shops, who partner with one or two roasters, this one uses several from all over the country. Coffee available will include locally roasted, Spyhouse, Dark Matter from Chicago, Verve from LA, Stumptown from Portland and Colectivo from Milwaukee.

While coffee offerings are dense inside the neighborhood (just a stone’s throw from Moose & Sadie’s and a jaunt from The Bachelor Farmer), there aren’t a ton of tea stops. Fairgrounds will serve Rishi Tea along with several cold brewed, sparkling, kombucha on tap and Instagram-baited matcha drinks.

Hand in hand with all the hip things to drink there is also an entire section of toasts on the menu, including the obligatory avocado. There are also rice bowls, eggs, sandwiches, salads and more.
