The Vikings regular season kicks off this Sunday, September 9 against the 49’s and today US Bank Stadium announced its new and returning food vendors inside the sleek monolith at the edge of downtown Minneapolis. Fresh for this year are Market Bar-B-Que (Hyundai Club and upper level concessions), Bibuta (Hyundai Club), Chickie & Pete’s (Hyundai Club) and Bubble Waffle (111 Main Concourse, 318 upper concourse). Plus there’s BeerCycle, a new beer tricycle that will be peddling around serving draft beers.
Market Bar-B-Cue is the Minneapolis barbecue institution that’s relocating from Eat Street to a new, under construction Northeast place. Bibuta is the sushi truck from Billy Tserenbat that is moving into a new brick and mortar location. Chickie and Pete’s is a new bar food spot that first served cheesesteaks and crab fries inside the stadium for the Super Bowl. Bubble Waffle will serve the Instagram-food-of-the-moment bulbous waffles filled with ice cream, custard or yogurt with toppings.
Existing vendors like the vegetarian Be Graceful Catering (now available at 124 Main Concourse and 328 Upper Concourse) and R Taco (now available in Hyundai Club and upper concourse) are expanding what they’re serving.
