Deep Fried Burgers and Boozy Milkshakes Hit Minnetonka Tomorrow

The Copper Cow arrives in the west metro from the Copper Hen crew

A former Dairy Queen has been dramatically remodeled into the new Copper Cow Kitchen and Bar in Minnetonka. The owners of Eat Street’s Copper Hen have expanded west and the menu includes some decadent dishes like a deep fried, tempura burger and a burger that employs a sour cream doughnut as a bun. The full bar is also mixing up spiked milkshakes and the Copper Hen’s famous boozy cupcakes. For those freaked out by that caloric onslaught there are also salads, a salmon entree and more.

Danielle and Chris Bjorling opened their first restaurant on Nicollet Avenue in 2014, where it soon became famous for its spiked cupcakes.

The Copper Cow will be open at 5445 Eden Prairie Road for lunch and dinner seven days a week. The doors swing open at 11 am tomorrow.
