Next Thursday October 10, the newest project from the Craft & Crew Hospitality Group opens its doors—and its patio!—in St. Louis Park’s Historic Walker Lake District.

Like Craft & Crew’s other restaurants (Stanley’s Bar Room, Al’s Place, The Howe Daily Kitchen & Bar, Pub 819, The Bar Draft House), The Block Food + Drink aims to be a dog-friendly neighborhood hangout. And with its indoor/outdoor patio and heated floors, The Block will welcome pups year-round, regardless of the chilly days approaching.

A long list of milkshakes is the star of the menu, each one with a frozen custard base and an option to add a boozy punch: the “Cereal Killer” blends Fruity Pebbles and Froot Loops with vanilla custard and vodka; the “Cookie Monster” spins Oreos with chocolate custard and a splash of Baileys Irish Cream.

Laughing at ourselves for forgetting to post this beaut! This WILL be on the menu! #openingsoon #theblockslp CELEBRATION SHAKE Confetti cake, UV Cake Vodka and frozen custard topped with sprinkles, sugar cone, whipped cream, cherry, and fireworks All shakes can be made non-alcoholic!

Human diners will find extensive options on the brunch and dinner menus: everything from burgers to vegan rice bowls, housemade soups to revamped bar classics. There is, of course, also a three-course dog menu: and canines and kids dine free on Tuesdays, one in a long list of weekday happy hour deals.

The Block opens October 10 just off Louisiana Ave. S. on Walker Street, with weekday lunch and dinner service and weekend brunches.
