Kyle Bell, the executive chef at Forepaugh’s in Saint Paul has died. He was 32 years old. The chef was with the restaurant, located in an historic home at the edge of downtown Saint Paul for just over five years. The restaurant remembered Bell for his, “calm demeanor, leadership, and craft.” According to a Go Fund Me page set up to benefit his young family Bell had been battling the flu prior to passing away on Friday.
Bell was a graduate of the Arts Institutes International culinary program and had worked at McCormick and Schmick’s and Mozz Mia prior to this position.
He leaves behind his wife, Sarah and two children, three year-old Stormy and three month-old Maurice. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Washburn-McCreavy.
