James Beard Award Nominations Recognize Minneapolis Chefs

This morning the James Beard finalists were announced and there were heaps of love sent to three chef/owners in Minneapolis. The James Beard Awards are considered by most in the hospitality industry to be the pinnacle of career achievement. Past chef winners include Tim McKee, Alex Roberts and Isaac Becker.

Already this year, local chef and author Sean Sherman, CEO and founder of The Sioux Chef has been honored with a James Beard Award for Leadership.

The award ceremony this year will be held in Chicago on Monday May 6. Here’s the full list of all the award nominees.
