This weekend marks the return of the much-missed Mojo Monkey Donuts as Lisa Clark fires up her fryers to return to making the doughnuts that have been known to draw long lines out the door of the charming West 7th shop. In the age of social distancing and contactless delivery, Mojo Monkey will deliver doughnuts directly to doorsteps this Saturday and Sunday, April 24 and 25.
Clark said that she had hoped to have online ordering up and running, but the best way to order is to call the shop or email her directly. The wide delivery area includes Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and most cities within Washington, Ramsey, Dakota and Hennepin counties. The delivery fee is a surprisingly low $1 for St. Paul and $2 everywhere else, gratuity for drivers is allowed at the time of payment.
The tantalizing menu includes the ability to order pounds of Spyhouse coffee, a savory garlic beef asado piroshi that can be heated at home, perishng (a fried cinnamon bun), apple fritters, maple bacon, funfetti, French toast, s’mores, and more.

Mojo Monkey first opened in 2011 to rave reviews. In February, Clark announced reduced hours to only weekends due to personal health concerns. The storefront has been dark since the massive restaurant closings came due to the Coronavirus pandemic. This weekend marks the first return in weeks.
