Burger Jones, the casual burger and fries restaurant from the Parasole restaurant group has announced it will not be reopening its Minneapolis location. The restaurant, located in Calhoun Village, was known for mainly for its burgers and fries. A part of the larger restaurant group, Parasole, it opened eleven years ago, when Parasole was near the peak of its popularity with multiple different restaurants around town.

A second location in Burnsville remains open.

The group also owns and operates Manny’s Steakhouse, Chino Latino, Salut, Pittsburgh Blue, and Good Earth. The company had been sold earlier this year, but that deal fell through when the coronavirus pandemic hit. In the past few years, the restaurant group has closed more properties than its opened, including Libertine, Muffuletta, and Mozza Mia.
