Bellecour Bakery, the bastion of gorgeous baked goods out in Wayzata has permanently relocated to the North Loop inside Cooks of Crocus Hill. Renowned pastry chef Diane Moua and her bakery crew have hauled all the machinery and been laminating dough inside the location as a pop-up, but starting this weekend the location is now permanent. Bellecour Bakery serves its famous crepe cake and croissants, along with more sweet treats and a slew of savory options for grab and go coffee, breakfast, and lunch, seven days a week. The bakery opens at 7 am weekdays and 8 am weekends.
Linden Hills Gets a Fresh Pizza Spot From a Familiar Chef
Daniel del Prado has opened Rosalia Pizza inside the former Rose Street Patisserie location. The new restaurant, adjacent to the back of his first, the beloved Martina, serves pizza, salads, crudo, and small plates including dipping things begging for a hearty swipe of charred pizza crust. The new spot is open seven days a week for dinner and take out.
Rosalia is also one of a crop of restaurants doing away with the tipping model. A service charge is added to the bill instead.
Popular Wine Shop Opens a Wine Bar in Northeast
Surdyk’s has launched Sidebar in the former cheese shop location at its Hennepin Avenue location in Minneapolis. The interior design was done along with Shea Design for a cozy feel with a zinc topped bar and a roll back garage door allowing for a small patio. Along impressive bottles of wine, the new bar has a full list of cocktails, and several snacks to order. The bar is open seven days a week beginning at 4 pm on weekdays and 11 am on the weekends.
