Milk Bar, the iconic bakery that began in New York but has since expanded all over the world, will be bringing a few of its most famous treats to Minneapolis this week. Its desserts will be sold through third-party delivery apps like DoorDash, GrubHub, UberEats, and Postmates from Thursday, June 17 to Sunday, June 20, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
Available for order will be a whole birthday cake, strawberry shortcake, Milk Bar pie, birthday cake truffles, strawberry shortcake truffles, cookie tins stuffed with half a dozen of the crunchy sweets, and tins of a dozen strawberry shortcake caramel straps.
The delivery-only pop-up comes to the Twin Cities after runs in Chicago and Dallas.
This is the second time Milk Bar has arrived in the Twin Cities for a fun event. In 2019, a traveling food truck created a big stir in the North Loop when it pulled up outside of Spoon and Stable for an afternoon of long lines, sweet photo ops, and sugary treats.
