This Italian haven in South Minneapolis specializes in made-in-house pasta. The main room is boisterous most nights. Dinner is served Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Friday until 11:30 p.m. and Saturday until 12:30 a.m.
The lights stay on until midnight and this gorgeous, vintage diner car on East Lake Street. Hi-Tops are kind of a hole-less doughnut situation served with all manner of sweet/savory toppings like fried chicken, gravy and a decent dose of maple syrup.
