| Jes Lahay/Eater Twin Cities

With the welcome rise in springy temperatures, many are ready to once again check out the patio situation around the Twin Cities. These are a few of the patios that are open and serving as the temperatures inch upwards and the sun is shining. The whole world feels just a little more optimistic right now, but call ahead and confirm hours with these restaurants. Some request reservations and all could change hours with little notice, depending on staffing.

Restaurants are listed geographically from west to east.

A number of Twin Cities restaurants and breweries have resumed indoor and outdoor service. However, this should not be taken as endorsement for dining, as there are still safety concerns: for updated information on coronavirus cases in your area, please visit the Minnesota Department of Health. Studies indicate that there is a lower exposure risk when outdoors, but the level of risk involved with patio dining is contingent on restaurants following strict social distancing and other safety guidelines
