Readers Vote: 11 Favorite Patios in Minneapolis/St. Paul

View as Map

It may be gray and gloomy outside, but today marks the official start of patio season (if only the weather would cooperate). Last week, we asked for your recommendations for the best patios in the Twin Cities. A couple places came up repeatedly (Butcher & the Boar, Sweeney's Saloon, W.A. Frost) and a couple brand new patios (Nightingale) and newly-expanded patios (Psycho Suzi's) also made the list.

So, here now, mapped for your patio-seeking pleasure, are 11 Favorite Patios in Mpls/St. Paul. Because it's going to be warm and sunny again someday, and when that day comes, you'll want a patio.

Is your favorite patio missing from the list? Let us know in the comments.

Lucia's Wine Bar

A commenter says it all: "Lucia's sidewalk patio captures the charm that is just south and around the corner from the hustle and flow of Uptown. Their wine list is long, the 'snack board' (think charcuterie) rocks your socks off, and the cocktails are out of this world. Plus, they are the only local restaurant to be nominated for a National James Beard Best Restaurant Award."
